“You are the light of the world.
A city build on a hill cannot be hidden.

I am fortunate to extend my felicitations on this occasion of St. Anne’s Girls School, and a leading educational institute in my home town. It is with great pleasure I say that I am also now a part of this outstanding school, called upon to carry on the work started by the Rev. Sisters in educating students and moulding their lives. Tremendous work has been done during the past 100 years, for the upliftment and welfare of the students mainly in the sphere of education, personal development, co-curricular activities, etc. moulding well-disciplined, mannered and virtuous young women have been sent to the world.

My wish is that the good work of 100 long years may grow from strength to strength. My prayer is that the founding spirit may be maintained and that all activities be oriented to the Glory of God, and the well-being of all who come within the orbit of the light that must continue to emanate from the St. Anne’s Girls School.
