CHILDRENS' &TEACHERS' DAY 2024

On October 4th, St. Anne's Blika Vidyalaya celebrated a vibrant blend of Children's Day and Teachers' Day, highlighting the invaluable bond between students and educators. The day was filled with joy as students showcased their talents through performances, art displays, and heartfelt tributes to their teachers. Special activities emphasized the importance of nurturing young minds, while teachers were honored for their dedication and commitment. This celebration fostered a spirit of gratitude and camaraderie, creating lasting memories for all involved.Our second guide in our lifes are teachers and they hold a very special place in our life who leads us through life.

ANNUAL SPORTSMEET 2024

The Annual Sports Meet of St. Anne's Balika Vidyalaya, held at Sugathadasa Stadium at the beginning of this year, was a vibrant celebration of talent and teamwork. Students showcased their athletic prowess through a variety of events, from track and field races to relay competitions, all filled with spirited cheers and enthusiastic participation. The atmosphere was electric, as parents and teachers rallied behind the athletes, fostering a sense of community and school pride. The event not only highlighted the students' physical abilities but also emphasized the values of discipline, perseverance, and camaraderie that St. Anne's instills in its students.

VIDARHA 2024 (ART EXIBITION)

St. Anne's Balika Vidyalaya, Wattala, proudly presented an inspiring 'vidhartha 'art exhibition from October 10th to 12th. This three-day event showcased the incredible talents of our Annites, featuring a diverse range of artworks that highlighted their creativity and passion. Visitors were treated to a vibrant display of paintings which embraised our Annites' Endowments fostering an appreciation for the arts within our school community. 'Vidhartha' not only celebrated the artistic achievements of our students but also encouraged collaboration and expression, making it a memorable experience for all who attended.

 

St. Anne's Balika Vidyalaya, Wattala, recently celebrated a momentous occasion with the prestigious art exhibition "Vidhartha," held from October 10th to 12th. This exceptional event brought together a distinguished assembly of guests, including the illustrious Kumari Munasinghe, beloved wife of the legendary Jackson Anthony, a record sixteen-time Best Actor award winner in our film industry. The exhibition was graced by esteemed figures such as Semini Idamalgoda, Ferni Roshini, and Buddhika Jayaratne, alongside the esteemed Dean of the University of the Visual and Performing Arts, Mr. Jagath, and the Zonal Education Director, Mr. J.H.M.W. Ranjith. We were also honored by the presence of the Rev. Thero of Hendala Purana Wiharasthanaya. The vibrant showcase of student artwork not only highlighted their remarkable creativity but also fostered an enriching dialogue on the importance of the arts in education. "Vidhartha" stands as a testament to our school's commitment to nurturing artistic talent and creativity, marking a truly unforgettable chapter in our history.

We celebrate Christmas in many cheerful ways. They are, decorating Christmas trees, spending time with your family, a lot of baking and listening to Christmas Carol.
